We have approximately 130 employees dedicated to property and our award winning team including 90 fund managers, researchers and strategists, managing in excess of £31 billion of property assets. Ian Womack is our Managing Director for Property.
We have experience in a diverse range of funds and property sectors, with particular strengths in indirect and specialist property funds.
Our clients come from a range of market segments including other companies within the Aviva Group, other financial services companies, Corporate and Local Authority Pension Funds and retail investors. The fund management roles at Morley comprise amongst other things the following key functions:
- fund strategy;
- research;
- capital decisions, both buying and selling; and
- asset management.
The day to day property management associated with the assets we hold is outsourced enabling our team to focus on the more strategic aspects of property investment.
We have strong relationships with partner organisations, agents and service providers so as well as experiencing the full range of fund management activities our team have the opportunity to work closely with others who are experts in their fields.
Notwithstanding the side of our Property business, the team retains a focus and a level of ambition more normally associated with smaller organisations, which informs everything we do, whether in product, process or service.
